The basic rules for creating, saving, exporting, and managing QR codes with Dotbox.
Using Dotbox
You are responsible for the URLs, logos, brand assets, and campaign materials you upload or create with the service.
Brand and trademark rights
Only use brand assets you own or have permission to use. Example brand mockups on this site are illustrative and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
Service availability
We work to keep redirects and exports available, but service features may change as the product evolves.
Acceptable use
Do not use Dotbox for deceptive links, malware, phishing, spam, or content that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
Billing and subscriptions
Pro and Business plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method each billing cycle until you cancel.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account billing settings. Cancellation stops future billing; you keep access to your current plan's features through the end of the billing period you already paid for, after which your account moves to the Free plan.
Failed or declined payments
If a renewal payment fails, we'll retry the charge and give you a short grace period to update your payment method before your plan is downgraded. Your saved QR codes are not deleted for a billing issue alone.
Refunds
Subscription charges are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods or unused time after a downgrade or cancellation. If you believe you were charged in error, contact hello@dotbox.io and we'll review it.
